Danielle is a registered clinical psychologist who has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a broad range of presenting psychological problems. The therapeutic journey is a very intimate and personal one, so Danielle aims to work collaboratively with clients to tailor therapy to suit their individual needs and goals. She strives to approach her practice as a clinical psychologist with openness, acceptance, empathy, and compassion to provide clients with a safe and secure place to explore the challenges they might be facing, and to learn skills that promote resilience and enhance emotional wellbeing and personal growth. Danielle considers it an honour and a privilege to help others when they’re feeling down and out, and believes there is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone find their feet again and begin to blossom.
Danielle works from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, and utilises other evidence-based treatment methods such as mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Model Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) in her clinical practice. Danielle also has a specific interest in trauma recovery and she has experience working with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual trauma. She holds a very firm belief that every person has the potential to not just overcome the odds, but indeed, to flourish.
